The SBLA28RSUB is a dedicated high-performance sub-bass system designed to augment the low-frequency output of the SBLA15 in large-scale applications where the sub-bass enclosures must be flown. The physical dimensions of the SBLA28RSUB are identical to the SBLA15 and it is equipped with the same proprietary rigging system, allowing flown arrays to be constructed rapidly and safely.
It features dual 18″ (460mm) drivers with magnet structure and suspensions engineered for maximum linear excursion. The drivers are loaded face-to-face to augment the output SPL. The rear of the driver is reflex-loaded to extend the LF output to below the natural cut-off point. Substantial internal bracing is employed to minimize energy absorption by the cabinet walls at the Very high pressures generated within the enclosure itself.
The SBLA28RSUB is constructed from multi-laminate birch plywood and fitted with generously sized Handles and a wheel board for transportation. To resist the ingress of water, the driver cones are treated with a waterproof lacquer and the perforated steel grille is backed with high-transparent acoustic foam.
